Problem:

Our client, a luxury home interior brand, was generating most of their organic traffic from searches that included their brand name. They aimed to enhance their visibility by ranking for non-branded keywords, attracting new audiences unfamiliar with their brand. By focusing on more product-related keywords, they sought to reach potential customers and expand their market share.
Solution:
BACKSPACE launched an extensive link-building campaign targeting the client’s top product pages. Our approach involved securing contextually relevant backlinks with keyword-rich anchor text from reputable, industry-specific websites. By enhancing the client’s anchor text distribution with keywords like “bedding,” “duvet covers,” and other product-specific terms, we anticipated improved rankings for these pages and an increase in organic clicks from targeted product-related searches.
Results:
Following the implementation of the Olympus link-building package, our client saw substantial growth in organic clicks for all product-related keywords targeted by the campaign. Additionally, impressions increased dramatically as Google began ranking the client’s web pages for non-branded keywords, reflecting the topical relevance of their products.
During the 8-month campaign, BACKSPACE successfully built 211 backlinks through manual outreach and original content, utilizing a Google-compliant link-building strategy. Most of these backlinks came from websites with Domain Authority ranging from 60 to 90+, significantly boosting the client’s overall Domain Rating and site authority in the eyes of search engine crawlers.
Focusing on boosting keyword rankings for product-related terms resulted in a substantial increase in total keywords within just 30 days of the campaign’s launch in July 2022.
